What we do

Transforming minds and bodies through yoga

We create space for conscious movement, breath and long term wellbeing. At Glowra, yoga is not about performance or pushing limits.  It’s a practice designed to support your body and mind in real life.

  • mindful, functional movement
  • breath awareness and nervous system regulation
  • strength, mobility and stability
  • moments of reflection and integration.

Each practice is structured with intention- so it supports not only how you move on the mat, but how you feel and function off the mat.

This is yoga you can return to, again and again at any stage of your life.

common questions

Frequently asked questions

How often should I practice yoga?2025-12-18T11:30:50+02:00

There is no one-size-fits-all answer. For most people, 2-4 times a week is enough to build strength, mobility and awareness, without overwhelming the body. At Glowra we focus on sustainable practices- that you can return to long-term.

Do I need to be flexible to do yoga?2025-12-18T11:31:52+02:00

No, flexibility is not a requirement to start- it’s a result of the practice.
Many people start yoga precisely because they feel stiff, tense in their bodies.

What are the benefits of yoga?2025-12-18T11:32:35+02:00

Yoga supports the body by improving posture and stability, increasing strength, creating better breathing patterns and the mind by reducing stress and helping regulate the nervous system, improving body awareness and focus. With a consistemt practice, people often feel more grounded, more present in their bodies and more connected to themselves.

Can yoga help with stress and anxiety?2025-12-18T11:33:25+02:00

Totally – especially when practiced with attention to breath and nervous system regulation. You will find here Somatic Yin yoga practices designed with this in mind.
Yoga is not a replacement for medical care or therapy, but it can be a powerful complementary tool.

What should I wear to a yoga class?2025-12-18T11:33:41+02:00

Whatever you feel comfortable in.

What equipment do I need for yoga?2025-12-18T11:34:03+02:00

At minimum, a yoga mat is enough.
Props like yoga blocks, a blanket, straps can be helpful but they are not mandatory.

Is yoga suitable for beginners?2025-12-18T11:35:03+02:00

Yes, yoga can be adapted to all levels and all bodies.
At Glowra, classes are designed to be accessible and adaptable, with plenty of options and guidance offered throughout the practice.
My moto is “Do what you can with what you have today.”

Is yoga only physical exercise?2025-12-18T11:35:58+02:00

No. A big no.
Yoga is a holistic practice.
Movement is one part of it, yes, but breath, awareness and reflection are equally important.

Can I practice if I have injuries or physical limitations?2025-12-18T11:36:25+02:00

First of all, always check with your physician. If there is no restriction, then it’s important to practice listening to your body and working within your own capabilities.

How long should a yoga session be?2025-12-18T11:36:55+02:00

There’s no perfect length. Of course longer sessions allow for deeper exploration, but what matters most is consistency. Short but consistent practices can be more beneficial than long and sporadic ones.

Is yoga helping if I don’t feel motivated or consistent?2025-12-18T11:37:21+02:00

Yes- especially then.
Yoga doesn’t require motivation- it only requires showing up. Just as you are. Some days your practice will feel strong and other days minimal. Both are valid.
At Glowra it’s all about creating a relationship with your body and honoring its all levels of energy.

Can yoga support me as I get older?2025-12-18T11:37:48+02:00

Absolutely. And it’s one of its greatest gifts.
When practiced intelligently, yoga supports posture, balance, mobility and nervous system regulation- all the essential ingredients for aging gracefully.

What if my body feels different than it used to?2025-12-18T11:38:13+02:00

Think of that as information, not a problem.
Bodies change because life changes- stress, work, motherhood, injuries, aging- they all leave traces. Yoga is a way to meet yourself where you are now, not where it used to be.
Glowra practices are not chasing past versions of yourself- even though with consistent practice you might notice that you feel better that you did in your 20s or 30s- but working with the body you have today.
